Autumn Ahoy!
We have been super busy with the camp over the summer months. We have had a lot of happy glampers to stay on our campsite in the Brecon Beacons. They have all had a great time wild swimming in the river, out on the hiking trails from camp, relaxing at the Dragons Head in the village with a good beer and lovely food and sometimes just sitting and doing nothing.
We have started the second space for our campers as it has been so popular we have had to turn down quite a few people sadly over the last couple of months as we have been full. We hope to combat this by creating a new site so that we can accommodate more adventurous countrysiders from Autumn onwards. The sites will be out of sight of each other with separate entrances so that you still have that isolation and privacy.
Its a perfect time to come glamping in the Brecon Beacons now with the leaves starting to turn and the evenings getting cooler. It such a cosy feeling to be relaxing in the tent with the logburner chugging away and a glass of your favourite tipple!
We have a film crew with us next week from the BBC documenting the positives of holidaying off grid. The piece of mind you get from turning your phone off and listening to the sound of the river whilst you sit by the fire pit cracking away is far more beneficial than glueing your eyeballs to you tablet or mobile phone. Try it, if you don’t believe me!
